Janneke Jobsis Brown is a Dutch-American psychotherapist, clinical social worker, and author who draws on her decades of trauma-healing work to inform her writing of intergenerational narratives rooted in World War II history.

Her debut novel Following Shadows (the first book in her “Finding Home” series) has been praised for its emotional depth and compelling portrayal of generational wounds, and she has published professional articles on topics such as anxiety, panic recovery, and First Lady Betty Ford.
